Generators

As one of the leading distributors for generators, GAO Tek offers a wide range of affordable and top quality generators. Electric generators are devices that convert ordinary energy gained from an external source into electricity. They are useful appliances that supply electrical power during a power outage and prevent discontinuity of daily activities or disruption of business operations. Electrical generators comprise 9 components, including the engine, alternator, fuel system, voltage regulator, cooling and exhaust system, lubrication system, control panel, battery charger, and frame. The portable generators are very effectively and can automatically switch on and supply electricity within seconds when power is disrupted.

Functions of Generators

It is important to understand that generators do not actually ‘create’ electrical energy. Instead, they use the mechanical energy to force the movement of electric charges present in the wire of its windings through an external electric circuit. This flow of electric charges constitutes the output electric current supplied by the generators. This mechanism can be understood by considering the generator to be analogous to a water pump, which causes the flow of water but does not actually ‘create’ the water flowing through it. The electrical generators are simply small gasoline engines (petrol engine), similar to the compact engines you get on a motorcycle, with an electricity generator attached. As the engine chugs away, burning up gasoline, it pushes a piston back and forth, turning generators and producing a steady electric current as its output. With the help of a transformer, users can use generators to produce pretty any voltage. As long as users have enough gasoline, they can make their own electricity supply indefinitely. However, the generators need gas to produce electricity, which means running out of gas equal to running out of electricity.

Features

These portable generators can be continuously run for up to a long hour. The embedded low-tone muffler helps the generators ensure quiet operation and the fuel gauge reminds users when refueling are needed. The devices include a heavy duty never-flat wheels for reliable portability. They also have the low oil shutdown system that detects a low oil level and shuts the engine down to prevent engine damages. The devices are well-constructed and are made to work in several challenging environments

Applications and Industries

Generators are ideally used for home use, camping, job sites and outdoor events.
