GAOTek offers a full range of high quality SFP transceivers with its SFP, SFP CWDM BiDi, SFP CWDM, SFP GE-FX and SFP DWDM transceivers. These compact hot-pluggable devices can be used for both telecom and data communication applications. They comply with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Service Agreement (SFP MSA), an agreement developed by eminent industry vendors. SFP transceivers are sometimes referred to as ‘Mini GBIC’ given their reduced form factor as compared to GBIC transceivers for an interface between network devices and fiber optic cables.
