Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has rolled out an innovative ADSL2+ tester providing multiple testing functions. The handheld ADSL2+ tester performs tests including loop resistance, capacitance, insulation resistance and voltage and also conducts physical layer parameter testing such as rate, attenuation, noise margin and output power. It is an ideal device for xDSL line testing and maintenance.
The compact ADSL2+ tester, model A0010007, has automatic test data refreshment, PPPoE dial-up via internal modem, modification of PAP/CHAP, PPPoE user name and password, and modem emulation capabilities. It offers a data memory capacity of 99 groups of test results and uses LED voltage indicators to indicate line faults such as a break or short. This ADSL2+ tester provides two modem modes for selection: ADSL2+ auto mode and multi mode.
