This easy-to-use ADSL tester, model A0010002, tests a variety of ADSL standards and also functions as a digital mullti-meter (DMM).
This ADSL2+ tester tests the physical layer, network layer and lines in accordance with ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+ and Re-ADSL standards. Network layer tests include Ping, IP config, route and tracert test. The tester is able to conduct tests while the operator browses previous test records.
It stores 1000 test results and 7 test configurations. It communicates with a computer via RJ45 and RS232 communication ports for data exchange. It also allows for online software updates and simulates PC and dial-up via Modem. In addition, it boasts a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with a large capacity of 4000 mAh 7.2 V, allowing for up to 6 hours operation.
