Global Summit on Emerging Technologies in Construction

July 1 to July 31, 2021, 2022, 2023
October 1 to October 31, 2021, 2022, 2023
January 1 – January 31, 2022, 2023
April 1 – April 30, 2022, 2023

Innovative advancements in the field of construction are allowing people to work smarter and more efficiently than ever before. This upcoming summit will cover different emerging technologies in construction: what these technologies are, how they can be applied and future technologies that are still works in progress. We will also be addressing changes to the construction industry caused by the coronavirus pandemic and what technology is doing to manage these changes. Some examples of topics our presenters will be covering at this summit include big data, 5G, manufacturing 4.0, robotics, digital marketing, drones (UAV and UAS), Fintech, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, data centers, biometrics and more so be sure not to miss out on all this summit has to offer.

As computing technology continues to improve over the years, so does its variety of applications in the field of construction. Using computers equipped with readers in tandem with RFID technology, construction workers are able to more intelligently track assets and manage inventory as well as control access to sites and parking. Our construction industry experts will also delve into additional computer and internet-related topics such as cybersecurity, quantum computing, edge computing, cloud, data centers, server-less computing, blockchain, computer vision, e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT).

With growing environmental concerns in regards to operations within the construction industry, new and more sustainable technologies are constantly being developed to lessen construction’s environmental impacts. Renewable energies (such as solar energy), electrical and autonomous vehicles, smart city developments, human factors and environmental factors are all notable topics our speakers will be presenting on.

Impacts caused from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic can be felt all throughout the construction industry. Unlike in some other industries, working remotely from home is not an option for many on-site construction workers so strict social distancing and handwashing policies have to be enacted and closely followed in order to keep everyone safe. One important tool that can be used to monitor and minimize the spread of the virus in the workplace is people tracking; this works by using applications to trace COVID-19 cases as soon as they are known. Our presenters at this summit on emerging technologies in construction will cover topics such as these and more so we hope to see you there.
