Description
Overview
This UHF Gen 2 RFID tire tag is designed for embedding in the tire mould prior to the manufacture and curing of the tire. It survives the high temperatures encountered in the tire curing process and is robust enough to remain operational throughout the operating life of the tire. The EPC Class 1 Gen 2 RFID tag is attached by a permanent adhesive to the inside tire wall with a special formulated dual cure chemical or heat process. It can be built into truck tires that can be recapped several times.
Key Features
- Frequency: 860 to 950 MHz for worldwide application (optimized for 916MHz)
- Read range: up to 1 m or 3 ft when built into the tire
- Flexible construction to withstand tire deformation for the lifetime of the tire
- Possibility to read and write user data into tag’s internal memory
- 192 bit user memory
- Factory programmed tag identification number to prevent cloning
