Description
Overview
This integrated RFID mobile reader enables highly accurate, real-time data collection with minimal human intervention in wireless applications including identification, tracking and localization of assets and personnel. Operating at a frequency of 868 MHz (EU) or 920 MHz (NA), this reader transmits and receives data at distances of up to 500 meters.It provides an anti-collision function which guarantees identification of thousands of sensors located concurrently within the interrogator’s read zone. Its high rate of transmission allows communication even with rapidly-moving tags. When it is incorporated into the CF Card slot of a laptop, handheld or mobile computer, the highly sophisticated reader enables the seamless integration into advanced information systems. In addition, it comes with a software library package to allow quick development of user applications. Drivers for several different operating systems including Windows CE/9x/NT/2000/XP and Windows 7 are also included.
