Overview

GAOTek Dispersion Compensation Module (Low Loss, Wide Band Range) supports DWDM Transmission System and features a wide band range and extra-low residual dispersion. It also features low insertion loss and low polarization mode dispersion. The G.652 Fiber C-Band has a standard value of 10 % slope compensation. This Dispersion Compensation module has non-linear features which include Brillouin Scattering Threshold of minimum value 6 dBm, Nonlinear Coefficient (n2 /Aeff) of maximum value 1.4×10-9 W-1 and Effective Area (Aeff) of minimum value 20 um2. The performance indicators and reliability tests comply with the Telcordia GR-2854-CORE and Telcordia GR-1221-CORE standard authentication respectively. This compensation module comes in various optional packaging styles, connector types and jumper lengths.
