It supports static routing protocols, routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, and ISIS, and supports rich management and security features. It is a Layer 3 Ethernet switch for converged service networks. In the campus network, S5590-HI series switches can be used as aggregation layer devices, or as the core of small and medium-sized enterprises; The downward layer provides high-density GE tandem switches, and the upward layer provides 10 Gbit or s, 25 Gbit or s, 40 Gbit or s, and 100 Gbit or s.
