Overview:

This 10Gigabit 1470~1610nm CWDM(Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) XENPAK Transceiver is used with single-mode optical fiber to reach up to 24.85 miles (40km) transmission distance. It is hot-pluggable in the Z direction that is usable in typical router line card applications, Storage, LAN and IP network. This CWDM XENPAK Transceiver is fully integrated module consists of a cooled CWDM EML type transmitter and PIN type receiver, XAUI interface, Mux and De-mux with clock and data recovery (CDR). It complies with 10GBASE-ER as per IEEE 802.3ae and XENPAK MSA standards.
