Overview

GAOTek ultra-compact 3-channel DWDM fiber optic multiplexing module has a compact footprint of 6.5X14.4X25.8 mm and 1.8dB low insert loss. Inside this device 3 channels in the C-band of DWDM are hybridized into 4 channels CWDM network, in consideration of CWDM wavelengths range from 1260-1625nm covering all the range of DWDM wavelengths (1470-1625nm). and DWDM wavelengths have much smaller channel spaces (0.4nm/0.8nm) in comparison with CWDM channel space, therefore, the CWDM wavelengths near DWDM wavelengths can be used to transmit the DWDM wavelengths.

Based on TFF and Free-space technology, taking patent advantage of optical path Zig-Zag design of multi-layers and all glass structure, its UC-WDM devices are of ultra-small size, extremely low insert loss, high reliability, and excellent performance in comparison with traditional Three-port cascaded WDM modules, they’re truly idea WDM gadgets which meet the demand of new generation communication trend: smaller footprint, higher performance and energy efficient.
