Description
Overview
GAOTek grounding fault locators apply to overhead line small current grounding power systems. They are used to pinpoint the earth fault when line breaks down when single phase grounding fault happen. The kit includes transmitter, senor, and receiver and accessories. After the overhead line stops running, the transmitters will inject ultralow frequency HV signal to the line to reappear the fault. Detect along with the line by the sensor and it will transmit data to the receiver by wireless mode. The receivers will collect and display this detect result. When detected before the fault point, the current will continue but after the fault, the current will not be tested. First use this device to find the fault by aerial survey, then pinpoint to find the fault point.
