Description
Overview
GAOTek optical duplex LC transceiver is designed for 100 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 49.71 mi (80 km) with FEC on Single Mode Fiber (SMF). It has relevant portions of IEEE 802.3 BM. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface. It converts four input channels of 25.78125 Gb/s electrical data to four channels of LAN – WDM optical signals and then multiplexes them into a single channel for 103.125 Gb/s optical transmission. Reversely, on the receiver side, the module de-multiplexes a 103.125 Gb/s optical input into 4 LAN – WDM optical signal channels and then converts them to 4 output channels of electrical data. The central wavelengths of the 4 LAN to WDM channels are 1295.56 nm, 1300.05 nm, 1304.58 nm, and 1309.14 nm as members of the LAN to WDM wavelength grid defined in IEEE 802.3 BA.Â
