Description
Overview
The QSFP transceiver is designed for single-mode fiber systems, supporting 4X10 CWDM channels in the 1310nm band for up to 10km transmission. It converts 4 inputs of 10Gb/s electrical data into 4 CWDM optical signals, multiplexing them into a single channel for 40Gb/s transmission. On the receiver side, it demultiplexes a 40Gb/s input into 4 CWDM channels, converting them to electrical data. The transceiver uses a 4-wavelength Distributed Feedback Laser (DFB) array and complies with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40G QSFP+ LR4 standards.
