Description
Overview
GAO Tek CATV EDFA Multi Ports High Power Optical Amplifier EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) is a technology used in optical communication networks to amplify optical signals. It is specifically designed for Cable Television (CATV) applications, where it enables the distribution of high-quality video, audio, and data signals over long distances. The EDFA operates based on the principle of doping erbium ions into a fiber optic cable. These erbium ions, when excited by a pump laser, amplify the optical signal passing through the fiber. The CATV EDFA Multi Ports variant is equipped with multiple input and output ports, allowing it to handle signals from multiple sources and distribute them to multiple destinations simultaneously.
