Overview
GAOTek XFP BIDI transceiver is a compliant with the 10 G small form-factor pluggable multi-source agreement, supporting data-rate of 9.953 Gbps to 11.1 Gbps, and transmission distance up to 80 km on SMF. The transceiver module comprises a transmitter with 1550 nm Cooled EML laser and a receiver with an APD photodiode. Transmitter and receiver are separated within a wide temperature range and offer optimum heat dissipation and excellent electromagnetic shielding thus enabling high port densities for 10 G bE systems.
