Overview
GAOTek visual fault locator is a palm-size, lightweight fiber optic OTDR that you can use for a wide range of fiber optic testing applications. This fiber optic OTDR is especially well suited for testing systems that have relatively short fiber spans. With a data sampling interval of five centimeters and a dead zone of <3.2 ft (1 m), you will find that this fiber optic OTDR is perfect for testing FTTx and intra-building cables. You can utilize the CWDM module to measure and view 18 channels (ITU-T G.695 and G.694.2) for both wavelength and power level. This fiber optic OTDR provides you with over 3.5 hrs of battery life and features a bright 4.3 in (10.9 cm) color display for superior visibility whether you are working indoors or outdoors. The Anritsu MT9090 Fiber Optic OTDR complements the extensive line of handheld fiber optic test equipment available from FIS. These include fiber optic Light Sources, Power Meters, OTDR’s, Loss Test Sets, Visual Fault Locators as well as Continuity Testers.
