Description
Overview
GAOTek 40 G Angled Patch Panel Modular Cassette Assembly provides secure transitions between MPO / MTP and LC discrete connector interfaces and is suitable for copper racking systems and low power budget, high speed networks. They are used to interface MPO/MTP® backbones with LC patching and active equipment connections. This pre-populated panel allows rapid deployment of high density data centre infrastructure as well as improved trouble shooting and reconfiguration during moves, addition and modifications. The MPO / MTP® Angled Panels contain factory controlled and tested MPO/ MTP-LC fan-outs to deliver optical performance and reliability.

Description of Optical Fibers
Optical fibers are mainly in accordance with ITU-T G.652D standards. The optical fiber core, is made of SiO2 (Silicon dioxide) doped with GeO2 (Germanium dioxide). This core has a higher refractive index compared to the cladding. The cladding of the optical fiber is made of SiO2 with a primary coating made of an UV-curable acrylate. This make-up protects the fiber against micro-bending losses and against abrasion.
