Color Video Quad Processors

The color video quad processor systems take analog video inputs from the video output based on the user preference. These color video quad processors allow the users to control the video output using the following display modes: quad split, full screen, PIP (picture in picture), dual screen (2 camera split), and auto sequence. Video quad processors are user-friendly and highly effective. They have smart automatic switches which allow random sequences and dwell time programming, single-screen playback zoom, and partial zoom screen.

Functions of Color Video Quad Processors

These color video quad processors use digital technology to process and store the video information received from the camera. These incoming video images are transformed into digital signals by an analog-to-digital (A/D) converters. This information is stored in memory and clocked out at a rate predetermined by the video processor. They have clocked rate which synchronizes the incoming video signals from the four cameras and enables them to be combined with a single video output in full screen or in quad format. As long as the camera signal contains the required sync signals to be displayed on a monitor, they can be mixed together with other camera inputs. After these digital signals are clocked out of memory, they are converted into an analog signal by digital-to-analog (D/A) converter and channeled to video outputs. Each signal clocked into memory is held, sampled and clocked out at a rate of one video frame every second. Once in memory, these video processors can display the video on a full screen, and in the quad, format zoomed to a quadrant playback mode.

They have alarm modes include video loss alarm, signal loss alarm, mobile alarm, video motion alarm, and external alarm with high and low alarm output modes. They also have a different level sensitivity of motion detection with automatic display of picture and alarm when motion detected. They have a selectable sequence switch, single-screen, auto switch (PiP), single video mode, three sub-window modes. The devices provide image zoom/freeze frame function and also can freeze all the windows simultaneously.
