- Signal Routing:Â GAO's fiber switches primary function is to route optical signals from one input fiber to one or more output fibers or ports. It allows for selective connection and redirection of optical signals based on specific criteria, such as wavelength, destination, or network conditions.
- Signal Switching:Â Our fiber switches enable the switching of optical signals between different fiber paths or connections. They can establish or change connections between input and output fibers dynamically, allowing for the reconfiguration of network paths or restoration in the event of fiber failures or network congestion.

- Fiber Link Restoration:Â In the event of a fiber link failure or degradation, GAO's fiber switches can automatically or manually redirect the optical signal to an alternative fiber or path, ensuring continuous and reliable communication.
