Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. recommends its handheld adjustable light source designed for fiber network installation, engineering acceptance and maintenance. Used together with GAO’s C0260003 handheld optical power meter, it transmits wave ID information and offers a quick and accurate testing solution on both single and multi-mode fiber.
This light weight light source, model C0220003, provides 1 to 4 wavelengths and its output power is adjustable according to specific need. It has an adjustable step size of less than 0.5 dBm and stability of 0.15 dB/30 min at 20 °C. Its modulation includes CW, 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 kHz and 2 kHz.
This light source is equipped with a LCD screen and offers AA alkaline battery and AC adapter for power supply allowing for a long operating period of up to 45 hours. Its unique intelligent backlight control greatly reduces power consumption by adjusting the light intensity according to ambient light. In addition, FC and PC fiber ports are available.
This high performance handheld adjustable light source belongs to GAO’s family of Light Sources.
