Description
Overview
GAOTek Fixed Optic Attenuator 10 dB (Low Polarization FC APC) is a passive device mainly used to reduce the amplitude of a light signal without any significant change in the wave form itself. This attenuator features a proprietary type of metal-ion doped fiber which reduces the light signal as it passes through. This method of attenuation helps in higher performance than fiber splices or fiber offsets or fiber. This device is capable of performing in 1310 nm and 1550 nm for Single-Mode, also it is capable of withstanding over 1 W of high power light exposure for extended periods of time, making them well-suited to Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) and other high-power applications. Low Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL) with a stable and independent wavelength distribution makes them ideal for Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM).
Features
