Description
Overview
802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow Module 730 MHz to 950 MHz, 32.5Mbps. GAOTek, build upon the TXW83xx, which designed by HugeIC, is an industry leading Wi-Fi module come with IEEE 802.11ah standard.
The module works at the frequency band 730 MHz to 950 MHz, providing longer communication distance against 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi at the same transmission power level. The configurable working channel bandwidth 1 or 2 or 4 or 8 MHz can process the PHY data throughput from 150 Kbps to 32.5 Mbps, which is good for applications like low-speed low power sensor applications to multi-channel data rate monitoring camera applications.
The module utilized CCA (Channel Collisions Avoidance) and CSMA_CD (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Detection) mechanism, auto frequency selection and auto power control to optimize the network performance of transmission.
