Description
Overview
The handheld passive RFID reader is a cost-effective, compact, and EPC global-certified device which is designed for both in-premise and in-field applications, such as warehouse operations, enterprise asset management, retail and enterprise inventory management and field service. This long-range handheld RFID reader combines five wireless technologies in one integrated system including RFID, Wireless WAN, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Combining RFID with multiple network communication options in a single handheld unit enables pin-point location accuracy for real-time asset, source and service tracking.
This integrated reader can operate in multiple frequency bands for global operation including 865 MHz and 900 MHz. It is compliant with EPC global UHF Gen 2, ISO 18000-6b and ISO 18000-6c protocols and uses Bluetooth or USB interface to communicate with a mobile computer. Designed with an IP64 enclosure and optional non-incendive configurations, this device provides excellent performance even under harsh environments.
