Functions

GAOTek’s SFP+ BiDi transceivers are enhanced small form-factor transceivers used with single mode optical fiber. They make use of WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology for transmission and reception over a single fiber. They bring together and separate data over a single fiber based on the wavelength of light, and work over their respective defined transmission distance.

Features

GAOTek’s SFP+ BiDi transceivers support the two wire serial communication protocol as stated in the SFP+ MSA. These hot pluggable devices offer high speed communication of up to 11.3 Gb/s. They comply with SFF-8472, SFF-8431 and RoHS standards. They provide a unique enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface for real time access to device monitoring parameters and come with sophisticated alarm and warning flags to alert users if parameters exceed the prescribed normal range.

They are designed for high speed integrated two-way data transmission over single fiber. Specific applications include:
