Overview
GAOTek automated Optical Fiber Microscopes have fully automated test sequences, compatibility with AndroidTM and iOS devices, and freedom of use. They allow everyone working on the network, regardless of background or skill level, to be equipped to perform first level troubleshooting tasks and address the most common sources of problems. With the automated multifiber inspection tips, inspect multifiber MPO connectors in dense panels, reach recessed connectors, and perform pass or fail assessments quickly and easily. The wireless probes are the ideal inspection solutions for fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) and remote radio head (RRH) applications where tower climbers have a copper or RF background and are often new to fiber testing. They also work in environments where it’s difficult to carry bulky equipment up the towers. They help reduce the number of climbs required and streamline the work needed at the top of the tower. Using the ConnectorMax2 Mobile applications, users can view fibers directly or capture and analyze the results. As some telecom operators have already made the switch to smart devices for their field crews or will soon, the automated optical fiber microscopes, with Android and iOS compatibility, ensure compliance with current operator’s processes and enable users to benefit from smart device connectivity (3 G, 4 G, Wi-Fi, etc.) directly in the field.
