Description
Overview
GAOTek DWDM EDFA 10G SFP+ DWDM ZR with EDFA Reach 120 km is used in optical fiber networks to transmit multiple data signals simultaneously over a single optical fiber by using different wavelengths of light. EDFA is a type of optical amplifier that uses erbium-doped fiber to amplify optical signals in the C-band (1530-1565 nm) of the optical spectrum. it supports a maximum data rate of 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps). The “SFP+” refers to the Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus module, a compact and hot-pluggable transceiver used in high-speed network connections. The “ZR” designation indicates that it supports the ZR (Zero Dispersion Reach) specification, which typically covers transmission distances of up to 80-120 kilometers. The transceiver is equipped with an EDFA amplifier, which helps boost and extend the signal reach in DWDM networks. It is designed to support transmission distances of up to 120 kilometers.
