Overview
GAOTek Industrial Ethernet Switch series of products adopt the industrial redundant ring network design. Each equipment has two optical fiber ports used to form the ring network. The ring network topology structure is formed by the cascade mode of hand-in-hand. The industrial redundant ring network design is to realize the stability, reliability and real-time performance of data transmission in harsh environment. Its working principle is that the physical connection is in a ring structure, and the network signal is in a chain structure. Once a certain node of the transmission optical cable is broken, the equipment will automatically switch to the standby line for transmission in a very short time. The redundant ring network structure not only reduces the risk of data signal transmission, but also simplifies the engineering installation and reduces the engineering cost. This product provides: 2 Gigabit SMP Ethernet optical ports; 8 Gigabit Ethernet UTP interfaces; 2 RS 232 or 422 or 485 serial ports. Two serial ports are designed independently. Each serial port is a master-slave design, one is a master control node, and the others are slave nodes.
