Description
Overview
This highly integrated 4-port UHF Gen2 RFID reader offers four mono-static antenna ports and is compliant with EPCglobal Class1 Gen 2 and ISO 186000-6C standards. This innovative RFID reader provides integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies deployment and reduces cost by eliminating the need for AC outlet installation at read points. Installation of the low profile reader is quick and easy. Snap the reader into the supplied bracket and, with the supplied, software, auto discovery will locate the device once it is plugged into the network. The reader can then be managed and configured with remote tools that provide pre-configured files for simplified set up. The RFID reader provides EPC Global Low Level Reader Protocol (LLRP) for easy integration into existing back end infrastructure including wireless LANS, Microsoft BizTalk and IBM WebSphere The reader uses aan Intel XScale® processor with ample memory and Win CE OS enabling it to host third party applications which simplifies application deployment.
