Description
Overview
GAOTek RP LiDAR scanning sensor range is a new generation of low-cost two-dimensional laser radar (LiDAR) which has a high-speed laser ranging sampling capability of up to 8,000 times per second. It is an enhanced 2D laser ranging radar, capable of achieving a 360-degree full range of laser ranging within a radius of 12 meters in a 2D plane (A2M8-R3 and previous models can achieve a radius of 8 meters) and generating flat point cloud map information in the space. These point cloud map information can be used in mapping, robot positioning and navigation, object or environment modeling and other practical applications. With a typical rotation frequency of 10 hz (600 rpm), it can achieve an angular resolution of 0.45° at a typical rotation frequency. The rotating frequency can be adjusted arbitrarily in the range of 5 hz to 15 hz according to user requirements. It performs well in a variety of indoor environments as well as outdoor environments without direct sunlight. Each RP LiDAR is also rigorously tested before delivery to ensure that the laser power emitted complies with FDA Class I eye safety rating.
