Power on the Device:
- Ensure the tester is adequately charged or connected to a power source. Power on the GAO Tek’s Water Quality Tester following the instructions in the user manual.
Select Testing Parameters:
- Identify the specific water quality parameters you want to measure, such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, etc. Utilize the Water Quality Tester’s interface to select the appropriate testing mode.
Prepare the Sample:
- Collect a representative water sample from the source you intend to test. Follow recommended sampling procedures provided by GAO Tek to ensure accurate and consistent results.
Submerge the Sensor:
- Carefully submerge the GAO Tek’s sensor into the water sample. Position it according to the specified depth and orientation for accurate readings.
Record Measurements:
- Allow the Water Quality Tester sufficient time to stabilize and record the measurements as instructed in the user manual. Take note of any specific considerations for each parameter.

Calibrating a Water Quality Tester:
Gather Calibration Solutions:
- Acquire GAO Tek’s recommended calibration solutions for each parameter. Ensure these solutions are within their expiration dates.
Access Calibration Mode:
- Navigate through the Water Quality Tester’s menu to access the calibration mode. Follow the user manual to initiate the calibration process.
Immerse Sensor in Calibration Solution:
- Submerge the sensor into the calibration solution for each parameter. Allow the readings to stabilize, and the device will prompt you to adjust if necessary.
Adjust Calibration Values:
- If prompted, use the Water Quality Tester’s controls to adjust calibration values until the readings align with the known values of the calibration solutions.
Confirm Calibration:
- Confirm and save the calibration settings as per GAO Tek’s instructions. Perform a final check using another set of calibration solutions to validate the accuracy of the calibration.
