GAOTek-OFI-119

Description

Overview

GAOTek Fiber Detector is an advanced optical live fiber identifier designed to identify the presence of live optical signals quickly and accurately in fiber optic cables. It is equipped with a powerful 10mW visual fault locator (VFL) that helps locate fiber breaks and faults with ease. The device can efficiently detect optical signals, including continuous waves (CW) and modulated signals at different frequencies. Its user-friendly interface and simple operation enable easy and reliable fiber identification in various field applications. Its compact and rugged design and the VFL function make it a valuable tool for technicians and engineers in the telecommunication and data communication industries.

Features

• The ST3820 supports non-destructive technology, allowing it to detect optical signals without interrupting the traffic in the fiber.

• It can accurately indicate the direction of the optical signal in the fiber, making it easier to identify the signal flow.

• The device can detect a variety of optical tones, including 270Hz, 1kHz, and 2kHz, enabling comprehensive signal identification.

• The ST3820 is suitable for 0.25mm, 0.9mm, and 3.0mm fiber, eliminating the need to replace the clamp block and providing added convenience during use.

• The unit comes with a built-in visible fault locator, available in 1mW or 10mW options, to aid in locating fiber faults and breaks efficiently.

• It features a low battery indication to alert users when it needs replacement.

• The device is powered by 2 units of 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring accessible and readily available power sources for field operations.
