Overview
GAOTek liquid concentration detector, is based on the principle of light refraction to detect the liquid concentration value, light in different concentrations of liquid produce different refractive index, and the sensor will receive the sensitive signal into the refractive index; Usually, the refractive index and concentration of liquids with different concentrations show a certain mathematical relationship. According to the Lagrangian interpolation algorithm (y=E1x3+E2x2+E3x+E4, where x is the refractive index, y is the percentage concentration, E1, E2, E3, E4 is the concentration conversion coefficient), the corresponding concentration value under a certain refractive index can be calculated. As shown in the picture on the right: The light emitted from the LED enters the sapphire prism from one side through the optical fiber and reaches the contact surface between the prism and the liquid material. According to the difference in the refractive index of the liquid at the contact surface, part of the light will be fully reflected to the other side of the prism. The position of the fully reflected light will change due to the change of the critical Angle (the critical Angle will be different due to the different refractive index of the liquid). The CCD is used to detect the position of all the light accurately reflected, and the corresponding refractive index of each position.
