Overview
GAOTek multiplexer redundant optical ports and SNMP fiber optical pdh multiplexer is a compact size, PTP and PTMP transmission equipment that easily bring the E1 and Ethernet services to customer premises or remote end office. It operates at 1.25 Gbps transmission rate over the optical cable, with enough bandwidth to carry 16 x E1s, as well as 4 x 10 or 100 or 1000 M switching Ethernet data. For further flexibility, these four Ethernet ports could be 4 electrical GE interfaces or 3 x electrical GE interfaces plus 1 x SFP gigabit optical ETH interface. It designs with 2 interface slots on the rear panel to adapt different E1 card module, so it can carry from 4 x E1 up to 16 x E1 due to customer requirement. Optical network interface supports 1 + 1 auto protection and dual power supply design enhances the system reliability tremendously. 1 Gbps bandwidth is dedicated and guaranty for the Ethernet data transport, and the switching Ethernet ports support VLAN and spanning tree. Two additional RS232 data ports are provided to fully utilize the transmission bandwidth. That can be used for carry the slow speed telemetry or any sync data. Order wire (EOW) interface is also provided for voice communication that is very useful during equipment installation. In-band management is supported with RS232 and ETH NMS interface. It adopts 1U height standard 19″ rack mountable case, and supports dual power 220AC and -48DC. It provides great amount of E1 and gigabit Ethernet data through the fiber network; it is the most cost effective solution for the last mile digital network access.
