Conductance and Capacity
At present, lead acid stationary battery maintenance is applied to the check of Float voltage of battery. However, it has been found that voltage is irrelevant with capacity of battery, because voltage is only to show battery s basic parameters. Infact, Resistance Test is widely applied in daily battery maintenance instead of Voltage check. The resistance is reflection to internal parameters of battery with high precision worldwide. The conclusion about internal resistance and Capacity: when battery conductance is lower than 25 % of Initial Value (basic value), battery can’t be passed by the test of Capacity. When battery’s internal resistance is higher than 2 times of initial value, battery capacity will be lower 80 % of rated capacity.
