Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its handheld optical power meter which features a wider power measurement range and a higher frequency range than other similar devices. It is commonly used for installation and maintenance of fiber optics and CATV networks. This optical power meter can also be used for LAN and WAN testing, network commissioning, and quality assurance and acceptance testing.
This handheld optical power meter, model A0850009, features a compact size, simple operation, low voltage warning, auto-off function, and real time clock function. It operates over a wavelength range of 800 to 1600 nm and provides calibrated wavelengths including 850 nm, 980 nm, 1300 nm, 1310 nm, 1550 nm and 1490 nm. This meter performs both absolute and relative power measurements within a testing range of -50 to 26 dBm. It has a large memory capacity of 200 data items for data storage and communicates with a computer via a USB interface for data exchange. This energy-saving power meter works continuously for more than 30 hours on a 3.7 V 3000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. In addition, FC, ST, SC or LC connectors are provided for selection.
This handheld optical power meter belongs to GAO’s family of Power Meters.
